Will this fit on my car?

The brackets fit the channels running down both sides of the 1.4, the 1.4X and the 1.4Z. The channel nuts come in the box. Nothing to fabricate and nothing to drill.

They also fit aluminium and steel roof racks and tub racks on their slotted adjustment, so the same set moves with you if the vehicle changes.
How do I install it?

The channel nuts slide into the tent's side channel, the brackets bolt to them, and the awning bolts to the brackets. No drilling.

The quick release is what lets you lift the awning off again without tools.

The awning lights run on a USB plug, straight off the tent's USB point.

The On The Horizon 270 Degree Awning and the heavy duty quick release bracket pair, together. This is what puts the awning on the tent, and it is what lets you lift it off again without tools.

Why the two together

The awning comes with a standard bracket that bolts to a roof rack. To put it on the tent itself you need the quick release brackets, and most people who buy the awning for a tent come back for them within the week. Buying both here saves $75 against the two on their own.

The awning runs off the tent's pre-wired Anderson plug, so the camp lighting works without a separate battery or a cable through a door.
